OUR CHURCH
For generations, Hastings Park Bible Church has been part of the Belleville community, gathering together around the truth of God’s Word and the hope we have in Jesus Christ. From its early roots to the church family we are today, our desire remains the same: to faithfully follow Christ and see lives transformed by His truth. We are dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel in our neighbourhood and around the world.
We invite you to join us Sundays at 10:30 AM for our morning service and Wednesdays at 7:00 PM for prayer meeting.
OUR PASTOR
Pastor Hal York faithfully serves as pastor of Hastings Park Bible Church, with a longstanding commitment to sharing the truth of Christ and teaching His Word.
Originally from the small town of Mars Hill in northern Maine, Hal attended New Brunswick Bible Institute, where he met his wife, Karen. After graduating, they spent two years in Lahr, Germany, before continuing their studies at Washington Bible College in Maryland. It was there they were introduced to Village Missions, leading them to serve as missionaries in Weston, Nova Scotia, for 18 years.
In 2001, Hal and Karen were invited to Hastings Park Bible Church in Belleville, Ontario, where they have been ever since. Together, they have three wonderful children and six beautiful grandchildren. Hal also serves on the Canadian Board of Village Missions.

At Hastings Park Bible Church, our desire is to keep Christ at the center of everything we do. We believe that God’s Word is the foundation for our faith and that its truth is meant not only to be heard, but lived out. We value faithful biblical teaching, Christ-centred worship, prayer, fellowship, and serving others with love and humility.
We seek to be a church where people can know Christ, grow in His Word, encourage one another, and faithfully share the Gospel with those around us. In all that we do, our aim is to honour God, proclaim His truth, and point people to Jesus Christ.
